Chapter VIII. The reward

Day 19. There are only two days left for the course to finish. Today is exam day. Students have to show their final projects to the directors of the excavations so that they can be assessed. Nights without sleeping have their consequences. Waking up very early in the morning turns out to be very difficult.
In the evening, in the sun, with the usual atmosphere of dust and sweat, the dream of all archaeologists arrived, and the effort made during so many days was worthy.
