Chapter VI. Sweat and dust

Day 3. The excavation directors have decided to give the different theoretical lessons in the morning; devoting time for laboratory tasks in this part of the day, while the excavation takes places in the evenings. This schedule is due to the hot weather of July. The first thing students do is to visit the exhibition room which is held at the Ecomuseum. All the artifacts on display were found by former students.

At 5 pm the excavation starts, and some ceramics from the 5th century AD are found. In the necropolis students discover a large stone slab which covers a tomb.
